Commercial Finance Business Partner, Media Conglomerate, London, c£85,000

This international, well-established Media & Marketing conglomerate are looking for a Commercial Finance Business Partner. With a plethora of household named clients, they are at the forefront of the industry.

The business operates within a fast-paced, dynamic environment and works with some of the world's most recognisable brands. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing finance team in a key commercial role.

As the Commercial Finance Business Partner, you will support senior stakeholders across multiple agency brands, owning key elements of the P&L and driving value through strategic insight, planning, and financial rigour. Reporting into the Assistant Finance Director, you'll be a trusted advisor to agency leadership, influencing decision-making and supporting profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full P&L for two agency brands, partnering closely with SBUs serving blue stream clients.
  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and monthly flash processes in collaboration with agency leadership.
  • Provide clear variance analysis and ad hoc insight to EMEA FP&A and Reporting teams.
  • Business Partnering with client leads, providing push back when necessary
  • Develop and deliver compelling Power BI dashboards for senior leadership.
  • Identify and assess revenue risks and opportunities, supporting robust cost management.
  • Co-lead monthly revenue reviews with key business stakeholders.
  • Ensure accurate staff allocations and billability tracking, validating headcount requests.
  • Produce and present monthly MI packs, including YTD performance, flash updates, and working capital summaries.
  • Conduct regular client profitability reviews, supporting agency leads to improve account performance.
  • Assist with contract and scope reviews, fee proposals, and operational finance guidance.
  • Support new business proposals and manage the onboarding of new clients, including credit insurance and systems set-up.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to two direct reports

Essentials

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
  • Proven experience in a commercial finance or business partnering role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
  • Experience managing or mentoring others.
  • Media/agency sector experience and Hyperion knowledge
  • Advanced Excel skills and a proactive, analytical mindset.
